Brick Police SCU (Street Crimes Unit) Detectives continue cracking down on anyone possessing and dealing drugs with two collars of men found with crack-cocaine and heroin.

SCU was investigating a "suspicious vehicle" near the Brick Motor Inn on Route 70 with two men inside and when they pulled over the vehicle, Detectives found 350 wax folds of heroin, paraphernalia and approximately four grams of crack-cocaine.

George Murray Sr., 53, Brick and Christoph J. Polperio, 41, Toms River were both then arrested.

Murray is charged with possession of heroin and crack, possession of heroin and crack with the intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, failure to turn a controlled dangerous substance over to police, and obstruction of justice.

Following his arrest, Murray was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.

Polperio is charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia as well as traffic summonses.

Following his arrest, Polperio was released on a summons pending a future court date.
