Calling In Sick

According to a survey, one-third of companies say their employees call in sick more often during the winter months. In fact, the majority of employees call in sick between the months of January and March. But while some employee absences may truly be due to the fact that cold and flu season is in full swing, nearly 30% of workers say they've called in sick just to play hooky.
