I used to love that show and was so excited when the Cake Boss opened Carlo's Bakery in Marlton on Route 73 in the Marlton Square Shopping Center. It was such a great location.

It's hard to believe it was nearly 10 years ago when it opened. I remember it being a big deal in the area.

There was a lot of excitement about the bakery coming to Burlington County. That's why I was pretty surprised when I heard it was closing.

Carlo's Bakery Closing in Marlton

Evesham Mayor Jaclyn Veasy said in a statement to the Courier Post, "While Evesham Township never wants to see any business close in our township for any reason, from our understanding, this closure in the Marlton Square Shopping Center comes at a time when several other locations in the Carlo’s operation have closed in New Jersey and elsewhere in recent years, as the owners focus on alternative methods of sales and distribution. We wish them all the best."
