Move for Hunger, a national non-profit group based in Neptune, is bringing a cornhole tournament to Asbury Park this weekend to benefit The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Not sure what cornhole is?

It's a bean-bag toss. (Ohhhhh.)

The 2nd Annual Surfside Food Drive Cornhole Tournament will be held at Porta National Park, on Kingsley St in Asbury Park (up the street from The Stone Pony) this Sunday, September 2, from 4-7 p.m.

Registration is $50 per two-person team, with all entrants receiving a free t-shirt and entry into a prize raffle.

64 teams will battle it out, with the winning team receiving $300 and a custom cornhole set. 2nd place will also receive a cornhole set.

Move for Hunger works to pick up unwanted and unopened food from people who are moving and don't plan to take that food with them. They then bring it to local food banks across the country.

This time of year is especially tough on local food banks because kids that normally receive free or subsidized lunches at school are home for summer.

Now stop saying cornhole.
