Ok, so we DO lose an hour of sleep, which is never fun, but we get longer, lighter evenings. No more darkness!

The extra daylight at the end of the day certainly lifts my mood and makes everything feel a little bit brighter.
Daylight saving time begins on March 8th, so make sure you move all your clocks ahead before you go to bed on Saturday night.
And even though the extra daylight is amazing, losing that hour of sleep definitely stings a little and can take some time to adapt to if we don't get ready.
There are a few simple things you can start doing now to prepare for losing that hour of rest, so the time change doesn't feel so exhausting.
Tips For Coping With Daylight Saving Time
According to the experts, CNet reports, it's time to start getting ready for the change by doing a few simple things. They recommend:
"Getting some sun in the morning."
Make sure you take in some morning sunshine to reset your internal clock.
"Slowly shift your bedtime."
Start going to bed about 15 minutes earlier the week leading up to daylight saving time.
"Try a sleep mask."
Especially if you like to wake up on your own.
"Set your clock the night before."
It's way better to set your clock the night before than to wait until you wake up.
