Humans are literally becoming the devil.

Researchers have discovered that people are starting to grow/develop hornlike spikes on the back of their skulls so it literally looks like we are turning into the backwards devil.

But the reasoning is even more mind blowing.

These bone spurs are developing because our heads are constantly tilted downward while looking at our phones!

According to NJ.com, these horns, "are caused by the forward tilt of the head, which shifts weight from the spine to the muscles at the back of the head causing bone growth connecting tendons and ligaments."

This new skeletal adaption is being called the "text neck" by health experts and this is the first physical evolution that scientists have spotted due to our ever changing ways of life with more advanced technology.

The good news is that this new growth is a new discovery and has not necessarily been a common occurrence among humans so you will not suddenly find horns sprouting from a day of heavy phone usage.

"These formations take a long time to develop, so that means that those individuals who suffer from them probably have been stressing that area since early childhood," said chiropractor who recently completed a PhD in biomechanics, David Shahar.

If you are wondering if you have these texting horns, all you have to do is lean forward and have your hand feel the bottom area of your skull. They are not hard to find so if you do have them, you should be able to easily feel them.

Now I am not necessarily of a fan of growing horns so may I suggest to put the phone down every once and a while? I know....CRAZY....but just a thought.
