If you have this Saturday off work and if you are looking for something fun to do with your family this is perfect!  Get ready for The Strawberry Festival and Car Show at Ort Farms.  This is a free event!

We go every year both for the strawberry festival and for their fall festivities and we just love it there! It is such a cozy, and family-friendly farm with lots of sweet animals to feed, farm-fresh produce to buy, and don’t forget the baked goods!

You can pick your own strawberries from 9 am to 5 pm it’s open to all ages.

Ort Farms is located in the sprawling hills of Long Valley at 25 Bartley Road.  My family and I will see you there!  By the way, I can still bring Nutella right?

There will also be a huge antique car show display, as well as a food truck fare, tons of cute animals in the petting zoo, train rides, and of course, don’t forget the strawberry picking!  The only part of this that requires tickets is the actual strawberry picking and it is worth it, trust me!  We got so many last year that I made my first strawberry pie.  If you don’t want to bother baking yourself, they have a sweet farmstand where they made them all for you!

The strawberry patch opens at 9:30 am and closes at 5:00 pm.  Proceeds benefit the Washington Township Police Foundation.
