Another case of animal cruelty has been reported in Monmouth County.

According to the Associated Humane Society of Tinton Falls, Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. someone left an elderly poodle in a cardboard box in front of their shelter.

The temperature was in the upper-90s Wednesday with heat indices near 110 degrees.

Luckily a volunteer spotted the box and discovered the dog in time. Sadly, she is in bad shape.
