EMT saves a life at a Wawa in Toms River
An EMT who came to the rescue of a resident who wasn't breathing at a Wawa in Toms River Thursday is being hailed as a hero today.
On Thursday afternoon PST/EMT Patricia Keene assisted with life saving measures to revive a person who was not breathing at a Wawa in Toms River.
EMT Keene, with Lanoka Harbor EMS, immediately started CPR and with the assistance of the Toms River Police, Toms River EMS and Monoc was able to revive the individual not breathing.
"PST/EMT Keene is a credit to this department and the community she serves each and every day answering 911 calls and serving on a local EMS squad," The Ocean County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook.
