Another Brick eatery has shut down.

Famous Dave's on Cedar Bridge Avenue has been serving up BBQ for over eight years but has closed suddenly.

Eyewitnesses say that the Famous Dave's sign is off of the building and that there is a sign on the door that reads:

This location is now closed. Thank 'Que for your business.

If Famous was your go-to for BBQ, there are some amazing local joints that are nearby that you may want to try.

Hickory Hog - 2310 Bridge Avenue - Pt. Pleasant

Hickory Hog gets 4 stars on Yelp and a ton of great reviews.

You never wait to be seated, service with a smile, and it is BYOB and the liquor store is attached!

All rib cuts and sauces (they have several) are terrific but the baby back dry rub ribs will leave you speechless!

I AM A FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Beef Brisket that was SOOO TENDER! WooHoo. Our server was the sweetest. I am definitely going back. BTW that cornbread was on the money!  Thanks guys!
