Well, this is interesting. According to 6ABC, Five Below is making a pretty big change. They're going to start selling some stuff for more than $5.

This will be the first time in 17 years that its prices are going up. The products seeing price increases will be tech stuff and some toys and games.

The company released a statement saying, "We've always done everything possible to absorb cost increases. Recently, we had to raise prices above $5 on tech items to keep providing the products you love."

The toys and games with higher prices will be in a separate area of the store called the "Ten Below Gift Shop" and the tech stuff will be in a section called "Ten Below Tech." Cute. In fact, we've already noticed some of the tweaks in local stores.

If you're wondering, like I was, if it's still going to be called Five Below, it is. The name won't change. Most of the stuff will still be $5 and below.
