With all signs that Southwest is on its way out in Newark, Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday that they will offer non-stop flights starting in November.

Frontier will put wings up and offer nonstop flights on a daily basis between Newark and fifteen cites including Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas.

The rollout of flights will come in phases with the first set for November, the next in December, and the full flight offering should be complete by spring of 2020.

Frontier offers one-way fares starting at $15! Most of those fares require that travel take place mid-week. There's also Frontier's 'Kids Fly Free' promotion where children 14 and under fly for free with the purchase of an adult ticket. There are some blackouts, and you must be a part of the airline's 'Discount Den' travel club.

Tickets for seven of the fifteen cities from Newark went on sale today, and the fares are really good!

For example, I checked out a flight from Newark to Las Vegas. The departure from Newark was on Wednesday, December 4 and the return to Newark was set for Wednesday, December 11. The fare was $69 each way for a total of $138 without fees and taxes.

I realize that Frontier is a discount airline, but if you're looking to save some scratch, it's worth giving it a shot, right?
