Girls’ Night In: Why More New Jersey Women Are Choosing Friends, Food, And Staying In
I was recently in a group text with some of my girlfriends, trying ot figure out when we could all get together for dinner. With everyone so busy running around doing a million different things, trying to narrow down a time and place proved to be a little difficult.

Maybe staying IN is the better plan!
Turns out, a girls' night in is becoming the favorite over going out, and honestly, I have to agree!
Survey Shows More Women Prefer Cozy Nights At Home
The New York Post reports that 46% of women ages 21 and older who took part in a recent survey from Talker Research and Cabot Creamery say they prefer nights in with their girlfriends, while 33% say they're more in favor of going out.
And what I love about this is that 56% of women say they prefer wearing something more casual, and even better, 35% say pajamas are the ideal outfit for quality time with friends at home.
With it being so cold lately, the thought of not having to get dressed up or go out sounds pretty amazing. Staying in my pajamas? Even better!
Saving Money While Enjoying Quality Time
Plus, as we're all trying to save wherever we can, staying in is certainly a lot cheaper.
Another key takeaway from the survey is that quality conversation is the most important part of a good girls' night, along with good food and drinks. And that's something you can easily do at home.
I figured, why not conduct my own little informal survey and ask my girlfriends? They agreed. Looks like we're staying in!
