This authentic Middle Eastern cuisine is one of the newest additions to the Aldi shopping center (1919 Rt. 35 South) that's also home to the Starbucks drive-through in Wall Township.

Mamoun's Falafel, in the heart of Greenwich Village in NYC, has been serving their delicacies since it first opened in 1971, making it the oldest falafel restaurant in New York (as well as one of the first Middle Eastern eateries in the US.)

This family-owned and operated business has served many famous musicians, actors and other celebs in the city through the years and has been featured on the Food Network.

They describe their food as being made from scratch using only the freshest natural ingredients, the finest imported spices, and their signature recipes.

Menu items include Falafel, Shawarma, Fool Mudammas, Kebobs, Lentil Soup and Mamoun's Spiced tea.

This latest Wall Township shopping center, called Wall Promenade, is now swarming with activity, including a Frutta Bowls, Pancheros Mexican Grille, a new nail salon called Rock Nails & Spa that the locals are raving about, Planet Fitness, Club Pilates, and that jam-packed Starbucks. Plus a medical walk-in facility.

Rt. 35 in that area was already overcrowded and now it's becoming even more challenging to get in and out of with this new shopping center. I think we will be hearing calls for a new traffic light to go up at some point! What do you think?
