As the curve keeps on flattening and less and less people are being reported infected or hospitalized our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will post a weekly report of the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County's instead of a daily report.

In Ocean County there have been 9,091 positive cases as of Friday morning June 12 with Lakewood having the most followed by Toms River and Brick, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department.

Ocean County has reported 191 cases since last Saturday which is 182 less cases reported than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County this week:

  • Saturday June 6:  30 new cases reported bringing total to 8,930.
  • Sunday June 7: 48 new cases reported bringing total to 8,978.
  • Monday June 8: 25 new cases reported bringing total to 9,003.
  • Tuesday June 9: 18 new cases reported bringing total to 9,021.
  • Wednesday June 10: 27 new cases reported bringing total to 9,048.
  • Thursday June 11: 43 new cases reported bringing total to 9,091.
  • Cases this week: 191.

In Monmouth County there have been 8,732 positive cases as of Friday morning June 12 with Middletown having the most cases for a single town followed by Freehold Township and Howell, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholders Tom Arnone and Sue Kiley.

Monmouth County has reported 239 cases since last Friday which is 151 less than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County this week:

    • Saturday June 6: 70 new cases reported bringing total to 8,175.
    • Sunday June 7: 36 new cases reported bringing total to 8,222.
    • Monday June 8: 4 new cases reported brining total to 8,253.
    • Tuesday June 9: 29 new cases reported bringing total to 8,301.
    • Wednesday June 10: 33 new cases reported bringing total to 8,357.
    • Thursday June 11: 67 new cases reported bringing total to 8,400.
    • Cases this week: 239.
