Trooper Alejandro Goez with the New Jersey State Police tells Townsquare Media News that a 9-1-1 call came in from within the U-Haul on Sunday leading to State Troopers pulling the van over around 12:15 pm near mile-post 84.9 in Toms River.

There were four adults and two juveniles in the U-Haul when police stopped the van.

Trooper Goez said it was not a kidnapping, that's been ruled out.

No charges are being filed at this time and the incident remains under investigation.
