We are all going to be Irish this week and enjoy all of the events in Downtown Freehold.  Irish Week is going on now and you can get your tickets to the Irish Week Flavor of Freehold, which I look forward to every year.  Get your “Shamrock Passport” and visit a diverse selection of restaurants, bars and shops.  Enjoy bagpipers performing as you sample menu items and get free gifts along the way this Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30pm-8pm.  Some of the participating establishments include A Little Bit of Cuba, Metropolitan Café, San Marzano Trattoria, Court Jester, El Meson Café, American Hotel and Uncle Ralston’s Jamaican Homestyle Cooking.  Don’t forget to appreciate some of the creative works at the Freehold Art Gallery.  Beer or Scotch?  The ultimate Happy Hour happens on Thursday with the Pub Crawl from 8pm-10pm.   Wrapping up Irish Week is the Freehold Arts Council’s 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday from noon to 2:30pm.  The parade will assemble on McLean Street at noon and steps off at 1pm.  Who knows…you might be standing next to Bruce as you enjoy the parade.  Click Irish Week in Downtown Freehold for details.
