It’s American Idol Time!

American Idol kicks off a brand new season this week. Are you ready? I know after X Factor, I was a little tired of the whole singing competition thing, and I wasn't alone. So I wondered what impact that would have on this season's American Idol. Well, now that it's here, I'm kind of excited about it. The show promos have been featuring Steven Tyler being...well...Steven Tyler.  Those promos made me laugh more than I did during the whole X Factor season.

Maybe that was it. Maybe X Factor was too concerned about building rivalries between the judges, and less concerned about entertaining me. So make me laugh American Idol! Keep me interested! I have a funny feeling they will!
