Australia's "The Church" is coming to the Jersey Shore, and this is a must-see show. The Church is bringing their "The Singles / 1980 - 2025" tour to the Stone Pony this June.

The Church kicked things off in Australia back in the late ’70s with a cool, moody guitar sound that was a little different from everyone else. Most people know them for their 1988 hit “Under the Milky Way,” which really took off in the U.S.

But they didn’t just disappear after that. They’ve kept making music and touring for years, building a strong fan base that loves their laid-back, dreamy rock style.

The Church is coming to the Stone Pony in Asbury Park on Sunday, June 28th at 7 pm.

I think my favorite album by the Church is Starfish, which features "Under the Milky Way" and "Reptile". The album solidified them in rock history when it came out in 1988. If you listen to Starfish, they have a "Deluxe Edition" which features an acoustic version of "Under the Milky Way" among other bonus tracks, so check this one out.

Another album to check out is their first album, "Of Skins and Heart," which features their hit "The Unguarded Moment," which came out in 1981.

The Stone Pony continues to have great shows lined up all summer, and this is another not-to-miss June 28th. The Stone Pony is located at 913 Ocean Ave N, Asbury Park, NJ 07712.
