The History of the PNC Bank Arts Center

The PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ opened in 1968 as the Garden State Arts Center. It was built as part of the Garden State Parkway project and was first used for classical shows. Over time, it became known for popular music concerts. In 1996, it was expanded, renamed after PNC Bank, and today it holds about 17,500 people for major events.

PNC Bank Arts Center Concert Announcements For 2026

There have been two big concerts announced for the PNC Bank Arts Center announced for 2026.

 

  • MGK (Machine Gun Kelly) with Wiz Khalifa and De'Wayne. Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 @ 7:00 PM. According to Ticketmaster, "MGK has played hundreds of concerts since the 2012 release of his debut album, Lace Up, a set that hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and  includes the gold-certified single "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame)." 
  • Riley Green: Cowboy As It Gets Tour 2026. Featuring Riley Green, Justin Moore, Drake White, and Hannah McFarland. Thursday, June 18th, 2026 @ 7:00 PM. According to Ticketmaster"For most of us, the first place we ever saw Riley Green wasn't on a concert stage; it was on a reality TV show. He turned up as a contestant on CMT's Redneck Island during the program's fourth season in 2014-2015. Although he didn't make it far on the show, Green obviously had bigger fish to fry."

Willie Nelson and The Outlaw Music Festival Visits New Jersey

The Outlaw Music Festival 2025 made a stop this past weekend in New Jersey. The concert at PNC Bank Arts Center featured 2 musical legends, Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, and an all-star cast featuring Sheryl Crow, Waxahatchee, and Madeline Edwards.
