These NJ frights are enough to keep you up at night.

For some people, there's nothing scarier than horror movies.  The story of the crazed killer who somehow has your phone number and is waiting outside your house, the creepy clown waiting under the sewers, or the alien abducting and eating everything in sight is the most frightening thing imaginable for these people.

Clearly, they aren't from New Jersey.

Here in the Garden State we've got much scarier things to deal with, worse than any horror movie out there; and sometimes we experience these things on a daily basis.  We live in a state where the drivers are nuts, the weather can be unpredictable, and flying bugs are attacking our plants.  There's a reason why the phrase "Jersey Strong" exists.

Okay, maybe I'm being a little too dramatic, but living in New Jersey can make you feel like the "final girl" or "final guy" of your own horror film (in case you're unfamiliar with that, it's the last person standing in the movie.)  But ultimately, we're built differently than people from other states, and we're better for it.

Since it's officially October and the start of spooky season, I thought it would be fun to reflect on all the frightening things we have to deal with in New Jersey.  How many of them have you been bothered by lately?
