EHT, NJ, alum signs rookie free agent deal with Baltimore Ravens
Former Egg Harbor Township High School linebacker Yvandy Rigby has signed a NFL free agent deal to join the Baltimore Ravens.
The Temple University alum said on social media that he is "Excited and grateful" for the opportunity to join the Ravens.
Rigby was the second Temple player to wear the No. 0 for the Owls. Wearing a single digit is a Temple tradition given to those who lead by example on and off the field.
In his final season with the Owls, he was leading all FBS players in tackles in mid-September before and injury forced him to miss four games. He ended the season with 68 tackles, including 16 in a game against South Florida and finished third in the AAC with 8.4 per game. In 35 career games, he racked up 207 tackles in 35 games with four sacks and six passes defended.
He had an impressive showing at Temple's Pro Day, running a 4.62-second 40-yard dash, putting him on NFL teams radar, eventually landing with the Baltimore Ravens and will be heading to their rookie mini-camp.
