Save the Dates: Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Packs in These New Family Events

As the premier family destination at the Jersey Shore, Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach is offering new (and free!) events featuring dinosaurs, magic, science, concerts, and more.

The schedule can change based on the weather, so be sure to watch Jenkinson's Boardwalk's Facebook page for announcements. Here's an overview of what is new this year:

Magic on the Beach

Two shows per night (6 and 7 p.m.), June 24, July 1, and Aug. 1, Pavilion Beach Stage

This new show will swirl together audience participation, comedy, and tricks, tricks, and more tricks. Find it on the beach in front of the Aquarium.

Family Beach Concert Series

7-8 p.m. July 9, Aug. 6, Aug. 27, South Beach Stage

Three nights of Yosi interactive live performances! They are perfect for everyone in the family and will take place on the beach stage in front of Jenkinson’s Amusement Park. Click here to learn more.

Science in the Sand

Two shows per night (6 and 7 p.m.), July 15, July 29, and Aug. 5, Pavilion Beach Stage

Bring your little mad scientists to Pavilion Beach Stage (on the beach in front of the aquarium) for fun demonstrations backed by science and education. Each show is different, so plan to come to all three! Click here to learn more.

Family Wednesdays

12-5 p.m. every Wednesday

You may remember Grandparents Wednesday. This weekly event has been expanded to include parents, too! That means one parent or grandparent per paid child admission can ride free and play mini golf free at Lighthouse Point or Castaway Cove Mini Golf Course during those select times.
