Jersey Shore BBQ Raising Money to Feed Hospital Staff

Doug Walsh of Jersey Shore BBQ in Belmar is well known for giving back. So it's no surprise that he and his staff stepped up to feed the men and women on the frontline at our area hospitals.

The JSBBQ Hospital Workers Fundraiser is underway. The BBQ joint is raising money to prepare and deliver meals to doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.

So far, $5,000 has been raised through in-store donations and on Venmo (@jsbbq_hwf). JSBBQ will be matching funds and is already making deliveries.

Check them out at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City Monday.

More food deliveries will follow.

Jersey Shore BBQ's business has taken a hit. Catering is a big part of the operation, and parties, weddings, and get-togethers are all being canceled.

However, the JSBBQ Hospital Workers Fundraiser will continue, but only with your help.
