Jersey Shore Covid-19 Positive Cases Summary
As the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic continues our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will continue to post a report of all the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County to help give an idea of where we've been and where we are currently sitting at the Jersey Shore.
Over the last week in Ocean County there have been 14,927 positive cases as of Friday afternoon October 9, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County over the past week:
- Sunday October 4: 136 new cases reported bringing total to 14,194.
- Monday October 5 : 168 new cases reported bringing total to 14,362.
- Tuesday October 6 : 101 new cases reported bringing total to 14,463.
- Wednesday October 7: 112 new cases reported bringing total to 14,575.
- Thursday October 8: 199 new cases reported bringing total to 14,774.
- Friday October 9: 153 new cases reported bringing total to 14,927.
Over the last week in Monmouth County there have been 13,385 positive cases as of Friday afternoon October 9, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Sue Kiley and since cases began being reported in March of 2020.
Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County over the past week:
- Sunday October 4: 51 new cases reported bringing total to 12,975.
- Monday October 5 : 47 new cases reported bringing total to 13,022.
- Tuesday October 6 : 93 new cases reported bringing total to 13,115.
- Wednesday October 7: 67 new cases reported bringing total to 13,182.
- Thursday October 8: 130 new cases reported bringing total to 13,312.
- Friday October 9: 73 new cases reported bringing total to 13,385.
