Jersey Shore Events To Keep You Busy This Weekend

Hermit Crab Races happen Wednesday Night at 7 PM at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant. Registration begins at 5 pm.

This Wednesday, it’s free movie night at Festival Plaza in Pier Village, this week with a classic film, Singing in the Rain.  The rain, was actually milk, and the suit was made of wool, so by the end of the singing in the iconic rain scene Gene Kelly’s suit had shrunk two sizes.

Bradley Beach Fresh, the night time farmers market with music, craft and food vendors happens this Thursday right along the beach at 5th in Bradley Beach

Thursdays by the sea, a free concert at Pier Village in Long Branch this Thursday with Brian Kirk and the Jirks.  Music starts at 7.

Friday, go for a Night Hike and explore parts of Sandy Hook’s ecosystem.  This event is a Ranger’s Choice hike.  Bring a flashlight, bug repellant and shoes you can get wet.  Make a reservation at 732-872-5970.

Friday is free movie night on the beach at Jenkinson’s in Pt. Pleasant.  This week with Jumanji 2017.

Fireworks at Dusk, this Thursday at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Pt. Pleasant.

Friday, catch the premiere screening of “Let’s Not Meet” at Bow Tie Cinemas in Red Bank.  See the film with the cast and crew in attendance a week before its actual release.

This Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.  Monmouth Park Racetrack hosts the annual BBQ and Craft Beer Festival with a beer garden, live music, all kinds of tasty treats and eats.  Plus a free family fun day Saturday and Sunday with a bounce house, face painting, clowns and more.

Live Street Music at the Gazebo in Downtown Freehold happens Sunday night with Justin and Alina.

Not ready for summer to end?? Monday night it’s Island Night at Festival Plaza in Pier Village in Long Branch.  Authentic Hawaiian music, hula dance lessons and more.
