Join Me at Soul Kitchen in Red Bank for a BBQ Saturday!

Jon Bon Jovi's Soul Kitchen in Red Bank is holding an awesome, all-you-can-eat, barbeque this Saturday from 4 pm - 7 pm, with all proceeds benefitting those who can't afford a good meal.

JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank is usually open for dinner (Wednesday through Saturday) and Sunday brunch...but there are 3 very special summer outdoor BBQs and this is the first of the season!

I attended a few last summer and will be there again this Saturday. The doors are open for outdoor dining as well as seating inside with one whole wall open so that the outdoors and indoors are combined! The line usually starts to form around 3:30 pm but there is plenty of food whether you come when the doors open at 4 pm or any time until it ends at 7 pm.

The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and plentiful and, unlike their sit-down dinners,  you fix your own plates buffet-style.

The atmosphere is great so bring your family and friends! The teen trio Iced Water will play their funky jazz music to entertain you (and yes that is my son Ben on drums) while you enjoy a beautiful day of food and friends, all for a great cause!

The price is $20 per person (all you can eat) and the menu includes:

HAMBURGERS
HOT DOGS
VEGGIE BURGERS
CHICKEN
SAUSAGES
PULLED PORK
& DELICIOUS SIDE DISHES (plus non-alcoholic refreshments and desserts!)

JBJ Soul Kitchen is a non-profit Community Restaurant, run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, that serves paying and in-need customers. Soul Kitchen is located at 207 Monmouth Street in Red Bank (with a second location in Toms River that has BBQs coming up in July and August.)
