Katy Perry 2014 U.S. Tour Dates
Katy Perry has already announced that she'll be kicking off her Prismatic world tour in May in Northern Ireland. Now, she's made her North American fans happy by announcing a new round of dates for the tour, as well as her opening acts.
Country newcomer Kacey Musgraves, indie-pop duo Capital Cities ("Safe And Sound") and Canadian sister act Tegan & Sara will be joining Katy on the trek, which will visit 46 cities.
Katy will be making three area appearances:
- July 9th - Madison Square Garden
- July 11th - Prudential Center - Newark
- July 24th - Barclays Center - Brooklyn
Tickets go on sale to Citi card members January 21 at 10 a.m. local time; a Facebook pre-sale starts on January 23. So far, general on-sale dates have not been released.
In a statement, Katy says,
This colorful show will bring you all the songs you know as well as ones from my new album, PRISM. I'm so excited that I got to hand-select some of my favorite artists to join me on this journey - I know you'll love Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara as much as I do.
The opening acts will each be featured on different dates throughout the tour.
