Lakewood Fatal Car Crash Probed

An early morning collision in Lakewood at the intersection of New Hampshire and Cedar Bridge Avenues claims the life of a Howell Township man.

Police say the fatal impact occured at around 7:15 a.m. when a Ford Explorer operated by Vincente Morales of Freehold was attempting to make a left turn and collided with a Pontiac Sunfire driven by Keith Hagelgans of Howell.

Hagelgans was pronounced at Kimball Medical Center. Moralez suffered minor injuries. Police are asking witnesses to contact Patrolman David Silberstein at 732-363-0200 Ext. 5387
