Lidl Announces They Will Be Closing Best Market In Holmdel

We are comin atcha with another Jersey Store closing.

Lidl US has just revealed that they will be closing its Best Market store in Holmdel at the end of February.

It was kind of surprising being that a Lidl store is just two miles away from this location but a Lidl rep gave a pretty good explanation:

"We are continuing to expand and build out the store network all across New Jersey," Lidl spokesman Will Harwood told What's Going There. "Ultimately after looking at the Holmdel location, it doesn't fit within the overall real estate strategy that we have."

This Best Market location has approximately 50 employees BUT they will be offered jobs at a Lidl store nearby.

As Lidl continues to explain throughout the Garden State, I am sure this won't be the last you hear of them by far.
