Lou Russo Watches Our Contest Winner Try on Her $10K Custom Ring from Earth Treasures

I have a 20-year history with Earth Treasures, so I knew they were going to do a fantastic job helping Melissa design her custom engagement ring, appraised at $10,000. But I was still excited to go see her try it on for the first time:

If you remember, you helped Melissa win our $10K Custom Creation contest last year. She was able to use Gabriel and Co’s Computer-Aided Design technology at Earth Treasures to design the ring of her dreams. Earth Treasures' experts educated her on different styles of engagement ring settings by trying on as many as she wanted in the store. This helped her figure out her style to create the engagement ring she’d always wanted. Throughout the design process she was able to see a 360-degree rendering and watch her custom creation come to life. After a few changes were made, she was able to know that what she was ordering was exactly what she was envisioning.

This process was a dream come true for her. She and Kevin had discussed getting engaged in the past, but winning this contest enabled them to move forward in truly grand style. Even though she was wearing a mask, you could see the emotion in her eyes and hear it in her voice when she sees the ring for the first time. (We did learn a few weeks after this moment that Kevin had indeed popped the question — and she said yes!)
