In the words from Kait, Michael's sister-in-law,

"Michael was the proud dad of my two nieces Liliana 4, and Adalina 2, his entire world along with the love of his life, his wife Jennifer. Michael was an avid outdoorsman but in his free time, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family.
Jen works nights as an RN at Brick hospital, while Mike worked days for the county. There is nothing the two of them wouldn’t do for their girls. Liliana has just started pre-school.

Anyone that knew Michael, knew him for his laugh and his generosity to those in need. He would give the shirt off of his back for an absolute stranger without thinking twice. He was a loving husband and father, a great son, friend, and brother. We’re asking anyone that can to please make a donation to the family to cover funeral expenses and the financial burden of this unexpected tragedy.

Michael was killed in an unexpected tragedy on Saturday when his Chevy Geo lost control in Eagleswood and he was ejected from the vehicle, dying on impact.
