Loving This Hidden Teeny Café and Store That’s in the Jersey Mountains in Warren County
If you have ever traveled up to scenic Warren County, New Jersey Then you know it is much different than here at the Shore. Unlike here where it is basically flat and at sea level, Much of Warren County is elevated with many hills and some mountains.
Of course, our version of mountains here in New Jersey is much different than in other parts of the country but we do have a few. This little cafe and store that I am talking about today is hidden in some mountains. According to Only In Your State, "Port Murray is a charming mountain community, not far from Hackettstown and near both Point Mountain and Jenny Jump Mountain. If you find yourself in the northern hills of the Garden State, you’ve got to travel through this town to discover a tucked-away market and cafe."
I am Loving this little cafe and store in Port Murray, New Jersey. It's the Country Corner Cafe and Store in Warren County. You know from reading some of my articles that I love history and if it's New Jersey history that's even better. Case in point, the Country Corner Cafe & Store is nestled inside the historic Anderson Hotel, which was built in the late 1700s.
Now if you are thinking of doing a road trip to this place like I am, keep in mind they are only open three days a week.
