Man Killed Driving Into Lakewood Building

A 28-year-old man is dead after crashing his car into a Lakewood assisted living facility early this morning.

Police say it happened around 2 a.m.  TheLakewoodScoop.com reports the unidentified man lost control of the car as he sped across Route 88 at Route 9,slamming into the entrance of the Lakewood Courtyard and winding up vertically against the building.

An investigation is underway.
