Manalapan man faces 10-years in prison for sharing Child Porn images
A Manalapan man has been arrested for distributing child porn images following a month long investigation by Monmouth County Prosecutors and New Jersey State Police, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni.
Eton Ronberg, 49, of Canvasback Road was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Distribution of Child Pornography and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Possession of Child Pornography.
An investigation into the distribution of child sexual assault images in Manalapan was conducted by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force.
On August 23, Ronberg was arrested at his place of employment and charged with second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Distribution of Child Pornography and one count third degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Possession of Child Pornography.
On August 24, Ronberg appeared for his First Appearance and was released on Pre-Trial Services pending the resolution of these charges.
If convicted of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Distribution of child pornography, Ronberg faces up to 10 years New Jersey State Prison, Megan’s Law and Parole Supervision for Life.
The case is assigned to Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie Dugan.
