This annual event pits the Manasquan and Pt. Pleasant Beach sides of the Manasquan Inlet in a series of tugs of war. Teachers, first responders, gyms, and other community groups face off for Inlet domination.

How does it work? Two 600-foot ropes are linked in the middle of the Inlet by the Coast Guard.

This year, participants are raising money for The Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey

Each side of the Inlet will have its own festival beginning at 11 am. The festivals will include live music, food vendors, craft vendors, and a beer garden with Oktoberfest beers, and much more.

After the action, we'll party at The Salty Whale in Manasquan and Boatyard 401 (formerly Duke's) in Pt. Pleasant Beach.

Procedes will be split equally between the Manasquan and Pt. Pleasant Beach Parks and Recreation Departments.
