I took a little drive the other day to my favorite South Jersey ice cream shop. It was a little cold out, but is it ever too cold for ice cream?

I think not! And clearly, I wasn't the only one with that mindset because the place was packed. It's open year-round, and it's always crowded. It's that good!

It's the Maple Shade Custard Stand, with that big Drive-In sign on top, that is right on the corner of Main Street and Coles Avenue in Maple Shade.

It's always voted best in the area, and once you go, you'll totally get why.

And even when the line is long, it moves fast. The service is quick, the ice cream is always piled high, it's reasonably priced, and it's SOOOO good!

My go-to is the Flurry, soft serve blended with the choice of candy or topping, and I always go with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups mixed in!

Other favorites include gelato, milkshakes, sundaes, Dole Whip, and classic soft-serve ice cream. You can't go wrong with anything you order!
