Mardi Gras Coming to Asbury Park

The King Cake Baby Hunt and the Mardi Paws Pet Parade are what make the 5^th Annual Asbury Park Mardi Gras celebration a special event at the Jersey Shore.  On Saturday, February 22 from noon to 5pm, stop by Backward Glances on Cookman Avenue inside the Shoppes at the Arcade and access the locations, so you can find all the king cake babies.  Each baby holds a secret word you’ll need to write on your entry form, so you can win your mini king cake (while supplies last so don’t waste any time).  At 2pm, dress your pet and join the Mardi Paws Pet Parade.  All registration proceeds will benefit Wag On Inn Rescue and your pet will be eligible to win a prize, so be creative with those costume ideas.  From 3pm-7pm, Taka on Cookman Avenue has prepared a Mardi Gras inspired happy hour for you.  Continue the celebration from 5:30pm-10pm at the Masquerade Ball at the Saint on Main Street with entertainment by the VooDUDES and special guest The Outcrops.  You might be crowned King or Queen of the Ball in the costume contest and win some great prizes.  Click AP Mardi Gras for event details and have fun in AP (Always Partying)!
