Middletown Eatery Closing After 20 Years

There's a pretty good chance you've driven through this Middletown constant.

McDonald's on Newman Springs Road closed at the end of the day Sunday. According to reports, employees were seen clearing the restaurant out on Tuesday.

The closure has been confirmed by franchise owners J & K Quality Restaurants. According to APP, a sign on the door read:

Thank you to all the customers that we have met over the past twenty years. It has been our pleasure to serve you.

There's no word on why this Middletown McDonalds shut down, or what is planned for that site.

If you're craving a Big Mac in the area, J & K also own and operate the locations on Shrewsbury Avenue in Tinton Falls and Route 35 in Middletown.
