BRICK TOWNSHIP -- After a two-year hiatus, the All-Shore Gridiron Classic returned with a record-setting performance.

Since the inaugural game in 1978 no team has won more than three games in a row, but that changed on Wednesday night at Brick Township High School's Keller Memorial Field. Middletown South senior wide receiver Ryan St. Clair was selected as Monmouth County's Offensive MVP and Marlboro defensive lineman Andrew Bulinsky was named Defensive MVP to lead Monmouth County to a 14-7 victory over Ocean County and set a Gridiron Classic record with their fourth straight victory.

St. Clair had a touchdown catch from Howell quarterback Stephen Jardim and caught a 2-point conversion pass from Long Branch quarterback Christian Rodriguez. Bulinsky had an active game along the defensive front for Monmouth with two tackles for loss, a quarterback hit, and several other backfield pressures. Howell's Nick Vecchiarelli also caught a touchdown pass from Rodriguez and St. John Vianney defensive end Mason Shenk had two sacks and a tackle for loss.

Donovan Catholic running back Nunes Bukula IV ran for a game-high 49 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries to be named Ocean County Offensive MVP and Lacey's John Dodaro had a sack, a fumble recovery, and a tackle for loss to be selected as Ocean County's Defensive MVP.

Holmdel running back Jaden Gallo ran for a team-high 48 yards for Monmouth County, St. Clair caught four passes for 48 yards and a touchdown, and Jardim completed all five of his passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.
