How far would you go to help a co-worker or your boss?

A Long Island woman, according to reports, is saying that she was fired after she donated a kidney that helped save her boss's life.

In a complaint filed with the New York State Human Rights Commission on Friday, 47 year old Debbie Stevens says that her boss used her for her kidney and then fired her "after the woman got what she wanted."

The divorced mother of two was hired as an assistant for 61 year old Jackie Brucia, one of the controllers of the Atlantic Automotive Group. Debbie wasn't a perfect match for Jackie, so she couldn't donate her kidney directly to her boss at the time, but she did donate her organ to an out-of-state stranger so that Jackie could move up the list.
