There will be a bunch of Halloween parties going down this weekend, therefore the New Jersey State Police and local law enforcement will be stepping up DWI checkpoints.

Brielle police chief Mike Palmer told APP that the Monmouth County DWI Task Force along with the Red Bank Police will be directing cars from Newman Springs Road westbound to the Salvation Army parking lot 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m.

There will be sobriety checkpoints in Neptune and Belmar, but the exact locations have not been disclosed by New Jersey State Police.

Just don't drink and drive and you have nothing to worry about!
