This isn't an April Fools joke. Our Monmouth March Mascot Madness finals are rolling into the first week of April. All Monmouth County schools have battled it out, and the final two mascot standing should make for an interesting matchup.

Last week, our final four battled it out in two separate head-to-head matchups. Here are the results of both.

MIDDLETOWN SOUTH EAGLES vs. WALL CRIMSON KNIGHTS

Middletown South advances with a massive 98.1% of the vote! Congrats to Wall Township for making it this far.

HOWELL REBELS vs. MIDDLETOWN NORTH LIONS

Once again, it wasn't even close with Middletown North taking down The Rebels with 93.22% of the vote. Props to Howell for coming all this way.

Here we are in the finals and it's North vs. South, Eagles vs. Lions. Which Middletown mascot will come out on top?
