A new study reveals the most popular Christmas cookie in each state, highlighting just how seriously we take our holiday sweets!
While about 9 percent of people say they'd rather skip the mess and buy cookies from the store, nearly 75 percent agree that December is the perfect time to roll up your sleeves and start baking!
Chicco analyzed Google Trends from the past three Decembers to uncover the cookies that get the most attention.
When asked which cookies feel the most like Christmas, families picked sugar cookies with frosting (47%), followed by chocolate chip (25%) and gingerbread (13%).

In Delaware, it's peppermint cookies. Chocolate chip cookies rank at the top in Pennsylvania, and raspberry thumbprint cookies in New York.
