My friends and I were doing a Girl's Night Out to celebrate a birthday, and this is the restaurant that the birthday girl requested.

I haven't been to Arnold Ave. in Point Pleasant Beach for quite a while, so I hadn't had a chance to try the B2 Bistro & Bar there. What a nice place!

They have a second location in Red Bank that is fantastic but feels very different due to the fact that each town each have its own vibe.

Anyway, I love the open-air front windows so that people dining here at the Pt. Beach location can watch the world go by if they sit up front, and can catch a breeze on a summer night. Plus they have some nice, big booths in the back (where we chose to sit.)

Their sushi is fantastic, as are the Poke Bowls and the Flat Iron Frite (some of the plates are enormous!)...the French-pressed coffee is fantastic and enough for at least two cups, and the desserts are delicious.

But what I loved most was the atmosphere. It is cool, hip, clean and fun (a bit on the expensive side, though.)

If you can afford to splurge on calories, you MUST try the Baked Mac & Cheese (we got ours with bacon)!!!!!! It is listed under 'shareable plates' but really I could have just eaten it all by myself as my meal. It was amazing.

Here's to fun times with friends and dining out at the Jersey Shore. What's your favorite place to go for dinner around here?
