Neptune City Girl Not Letting COVID-19 Ruin Annual Birthday Benefit
Neptune City's Mary Jodry is no stranger to The Point. We met her many years ago and every year she uses her birthday as a reason to help others.
Since the age of 9, Jodry has helped to raise money for many local organizations including Ashley Lauren Foundation and Mary's Place by the Sea. More recently, she has been partnering with One Life To Love - a non-profit organization founded in Brick that helps to rescue abandoned and neglected children in India. For the last several years, Jodry has been putting on concerts to raise money for the group and although the coronavirus pandemic has altered those plans, she is not letting it ruin the fundraising effort.
This year, Jodry's Birthday Benefit Concert is going virtual with live streams on Facebook and Instagram,
Here's a preview of what you can expect:
Jodry hopes you will join her in her efforts of “raising money to help One Life To Love while celebrating our global community and not putting barriers on needed love.”
One Life to Love is committed to seeing 1,500 families through the coronavirus crisis in the form of relief packs that contain rations to feed a family of four for one week.
The Give Hope Live Benefit Concert takes place tonight (Tuesday, May 5th) from 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. All proceeds will go toward COVID-19 relief efforts in India.
