Who's hungry?  I'm always saying we need a healthy and delicious way to feed our families on the go and now there is a stellar new option coming to Ocean Township.

We have our fair share of takeout in Jersey but when I think of to-go or delivery my mind goes to Italian or Chinese. I have to say that there is one cuisine that has been sorely underrepresented in my opinion and that is Indian.  We are getting a brand spanking new Indian take-out spot and I can't wait to get my curry on!

Are you ready for an epic Bombay River Chicken Slider with chicken pattie, melted cheese, lettuce, onion, chat masala, fried papadam?

Or what about Lasooni Crab Masala with onions, black pepper, garlic sauce, butter pao?

If you can't decide on just one, you gotta go with the Trio Platter murg tikka, shammi kabab, tandoori shrimp.

Mouth watering yet?  How about my favorite, Chicken Saagwala with
spinach puree, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, cloves, turmeric.  Seriously, this is good hearty food with flare!

You probably already fell in love with Bombay River, in Red Bank, now they are opening a second location in Ocean Township and I'm gonna be all over it.  It will be called Bombay River Express, and it will be on Route 35 under International Bites and it is set to open April 15th.

This food promises to be healthy and flavorful while keeping to the traditions of true Indian cooking. I love eating Indian...my family and I went out to an Indian restaurant once and the server asked how spicy I wanted my food and I said, "On a scale of 1-10 I'll go with a 7" the chef overhead be and busted into the dining room and warned me "You don't want my 7!, No one can handle my 7!"  LOL...I went with a 4 and was pretty darn happy. Food for thought...
