New Jersey Actor Frank Vincent Dies at age 78
TMZ is reporting that Goodfellas and Sopranos star Frank Vincent has passed away. He was 78.
Vincent, a Nutley resident is said to have died at a New Jersey hospital during heart surgery. He was a regular on "The Sopranos," played Billy Batts in the 1990 classic "Goodfellas," and appeared in 1995's "Casino" alongside Robert DeNiro and Joe Pecci.
While Frank had a niche genre of acting that he specialized in, he had many other roles including lending his voice in the movie Shark Tale and video game Grand Theft Auto III.
Vincent was raised in the Greenville section of Jersey City.
