The Best Bathroom In New Jersey Is At This Turnpike Service Area
New Jersey's Cleanest Restroom Is On The Turnpike
If you're someone who would rather hold it until you get home than dare pull over and use a public restroom, here's some good news.
One New Jersey restroom has been named the cleanest in the entire state!
Now you just have to hope you're driving past that rest stop when nature calls!
This is New Jersey. Driving around, you hardly ever find yourself in the middle of nowhere, where finding a restroom is impossible.
In some areas of the state, there's a Wawa on practically every corner, where the bathrooms are very clean, but some Wawa locations in shore towns don't offer a public restroom.
There's one I recently stopped at that didn't have a public restroom, but had a porta-potty sitting outside the building.

When you do find a public restroom that's clean and not totally disgusting, it's nice to share!
So if you ever find yourself traveling south on the New Jersey Turnpike, and you have to go, the best place to stop in New Jersey is the Clara Barton Service Area.
Clara Barton Service Area Wins The Title For Cleanest Restroom
It was actually named the CLEANEST bathroom in the Garden State, according to American River Wellness!
It happens to be the last service area before leaving New Jersey, near milepost 5.4 down in Salem County. It was knocked down and rebuilt, reopening a few years ago.

American River Wellness had a list of the cleanest restrooms in each state, so if you're planning a road trip this spring, it's worth checking out. You can map out your route in case you have to go!
