There are lots of ways to earn a quick buck, but this one has Swifties ready to lose their minds.  Whatever you do, don't fall for the latest scam!

Scams have been ramping up and yes, this one is messing with the Swifties.  This is a pretty bold move since Taylor Swift fans are still beyond ticked off after waiting online for 8 hours only to not get their tickets.  Criminals are striking while emotions are still running high over Taylor-gate and we don’t want you to be next.

There is a Taylor Swift scam on Facebook that started right here in New Jersey and fans are getting duped.  I can’t remember when a concert ticket was so in demand and that sets the stage for people to take advantage.

There are currently offers on Facebook groups, most recently in Hackettstown, New Jersey, where people are claiming to have tickets to Taylor’s show for sale.  This particular phantom pair of tickets came with instructions to send $1,480 dollars via Zelle into the seller’s account. Of course, the victim never received her tickets.

Police are warning buyers to beware, this is happening all over Facebook and if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.  Honestly, if someone is lucky enough to get those tickets they are not selling them.

What do you do if you get scammed?  Report it to your local police station but if you've used Zelle, Wells Fargo will be the most help if you catch it quickly. Just a reminder, never buy anything that cannot be verified in advance or from a place that does not have a customer service department. Buyer beware.  You can read even more about it from News12 here.
